Once

Long ago

You were a butterfly
Dancing
In the streams
Of my vision

You landed

In my heart
And
Warmed it
Enriched it
Forever changed it

Then

You exploded into
Your own life
Your own love
Your own destiny
Your own world

Now

Daughter
You are a butterfly
Dancing
In the streams
Of my memories
